Nowadays, knowing how to use computers and the Internet is a must, especially for OFWs who communicate virtually with their families. To address this need, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) launched the Information Technology Training Program or ITTP.
The ITTP is a short-term training program that aims to enhance the computer skills of OFWs and their dependents. Implemented in 2005, this program covers basic Internet, Microsoft Office applications, multimedia, graphic design, digital economy/freelancing, social media marketing, and other topics related to information technology.

Program Benefits
The Information Technology Training Program (ITTP) is a 5- to 10-day training program that seeks to improve the computer literacy and information technology skills of OFWs and their families. Organized by OWWA Regional Offices around the Philippines, trainings are held in-country and onsite by in-house IT personnel.
