The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) operates Regional Welfares Offices (RWOs) across the Philippines, serving the needs of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families. In Region 4A or the Southern Tagalog Region, the OWWA RWO is located in Calamba, Laguna.
Interestingly, the Southern Tagalog Region is more popularly known as “CALABARZON,” a name drawn from its five provinces: Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon. It is the most populous region in the country, with more than 16 million people according to the 2020 census.
OWWA Regional Welfare Office (RWO) 4A
OWWA RWO 4A is headquartered in Calamba City, Laguna. Like other regional offices, it provides a range of services for OFWs and their dependents. These include social benefits, education and training programs, welfare assistance, repatriation assistance, and many more.
OFWs and their families or representatives can come to the office every Mondays through Fridays, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

OWWA RWO 4A Satellite Offices
The OWWA regional office oversees five “satellite” offices, one for each province in CALABARZON. Notably, the Laguna Satellite Office is situated in the same building as the regional office in Calamba City, Laguna.

OWWA RWO 4A Conducts Entrepreneurial Development Training in Quezon
On 22 July 2026, OWWA RWO 4A conducted an Entrepreneurial Development Training (EDT), together with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Quezon Provincial Office. The training was carried out for beneficiaries of the Balik Pinas, Balik Hanapbuhay (BPBH) Program. A total of 37 participants attended the training, which covered topics such as entrepreneurship, business planning, and basic financial management.
OFWs and their families from CALABARZON can easily avail of the OWWA’s programs and services through the RWO 4A and its satellite offices in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon.
