JANUARY 29, 2026 – The OWWA is urging its members to avail of the OWWA e-Card, which they can use to get discounts in select establishments worldwide.
During a phone interview on Thursday, OWWA-Ilocos Region labor communications officer Rubylyn Munar shared that the e-Card primarily serves as a government-issued ID for active OFWs. They can present it at any embassy, consulate, or Migrant Workers Office (MWO) abroad whenever they need services or assistance.

OFWs Urged to Avail of OWWA e-Card
Munar explained that the OWWA e-Card functions as proof of membership, facilitating easier transactions at MWOs, while also offering discounts at airlines, hotels, and cargo services, the Philippine News Agency reported.
“They [OFWs] can avail discounts of up to 50 percent in various partner establishments,” she said.
Based on the OWWA e-Card official website, here is a list of some of the partner establishments in the Philippines: Apo View Hotel, Astrotel, Bellevue Hotels and Resorts, Eurotel Hotel, Hotel Dreamworld, Hotel SOGO, Nike Philippines, Paramount Life and General Insurance, Philippine Airlines, The Travel Club, UBE Express, and Wilcon Depot Inc.
Meanwhile, here is a list of some of the the e-Card’s partner establishments abroad:
- Saudi Arabia – Boba T, BPL Cargo, Chowking, DXB Middle East, Health Alliance Training Center, Holiday Inn, Jollibee, LBC Express, LK Kwik Cargo, Plaza Restaurant, Skyland Company, Sofitel, and Starbucks
- United Arab Emirates – Ahalia Medical Group, Big Bites Restaurant, Fine Touch Salon, Grand Infinity Healthcare Group, Hot Palayok Restaurant, Joyalukkas Exxchange, JRS Express, JRS Global Cargo, LBC Express, Paluto Restaurant, and Tryp Hotel by Wyndham

OFWs can avail of their OWWA e-Card physical ID in OFW lounge areas at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminals 1 and 3, at the OWWA National Capital Region (NCR) Office, and at the OWWA Seafarers’ Welfare Center in Makati City.
To get an OWWA e-Card, OFWs simple need to present their valid passport and proof of OWWA membership. The e-Card will be valid for two years, alongside their OWWA membership.

Aside from the physical card, the digital OWWA e-Card is also available through the OWWA mobile app. The digital e-Card functions like the physical card, featuring a permanent OWWA/OFW membership number.
Currently, membership to the OWWA costs USD 25, valid for two years and offering plenty of benefits and programs to OFWs and their families.
